Electoral Roll 2019

A new Electoral Roll will be prepared this year, Church Representation Rules require that every 6 years a completely new Electoral Roll should be prepared for each parish.  If you would like your name on the Electoral Roll, you will need to fill in a form.  The form is below, and you will need to print it out and fill it in.

Whether your name is entered on the present roll or not, you still need to apply for the new Electoral Roll.  Putting your name on the roll is a way of saying “I belong”; it is an act of commitment to your local church and to the Church as a whole.  It means you can take part in decisions which affect the church and parish, to vote in the Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM) and to stand for the Parochial Church Council (PCC).

Please hand the forms back to the Parish Office.  If the office is not open, you can post in the box on the railings of the Cross Tree Centre.

Or you can download the form here.

If you would like to know more about the procedure of the Electoral Roll it is governed by the 2017 edition of the Church Representation Rules, which you can find here.
